Strengthening Pilina Within and Across Koʻolau Communities

Nearly 30 Koʻolau keiki to kūpuna recently gathered for an aloha ʻāina workday at the ʻOhana Fukumitsu Loʻi along the Hakipuʻu Stream, demonstrating their commitment to give back to ʻāina and strengthen pilina with one another.

For 2025, the Koʻolau Resilience Hub Network is committed to action across (3) priority areas: Strengthening Pilina Within and Across Communities of Koʻolau, Building Disaster Preparedness and Thriving Communities in Every Season of Life. In alignment with Priority 1, they plan to gather for future workdays in partnership with aloha ʻāina organizations throughout Koʻolau, embracing culture and bringing the community closer together. Mahalo to the Fukumitsu ʻOhana and Hoʻāla ʻĀina Kūpono for graciously hosting this event, and to Waiākea Water for your generous sponsorship.
