Project Summary

Motivate the community to become established farmers and grow their own food. Provide farm-to-market opportunities to sell produce grown in Hawaiʻi. Create a more food sustainable Hawaiʻi and eliminate outsourcing of food/produce.

"We have started growing many veggies and fruits over the past year to help strengthen our local food systems and build up our future generation of farmers by building and sustaining our own local farm. Food security is an important conversation to have, especially here in Hawaiʻi. It’s important to get back to ‘āina and ‘āina based sustainability."
